Sadu House, a treasure of textiles

The most amazing part of this trip continues to be the amazing textiles that are seen throughout Kuwait. The Sadu textiles have been a part of the Bedouin culture, a traditionally nomadic group that now settles in the urban areas of Kuwait. Thankfully, one of their amazing and rich cultural heritages continues through the efforts of the weavers and those supporting the Sadu House.

I will highlight more about the Sadu House, but for this first posting, I want to show you the textiles - let you see the rich surfaces, enjoy the details of the forms, just as you see when you walk through the Sadu House. Better details to follow!
